The menfolk of the Lopacinski and Luke clans at the gate of Arundel castle.
- Our boys went to Arundel School, so we had to visit this castle. The first motte and bailey castle on this site was started in 1067, one year after the Battle of
AJ, Jordan and Justin. Jordan and AJ have gone to school together since kindergarten. The Lopacinski’s were in London for the Olympics, and we were able to go on this excursion together.
- It was Pirates Day at the castle. The boys got to try out fencing and do a little archery.
- Jordan chilling on the ledge of a shooting slit in the round motte tower. The old section of the castle was built with flint rock. We have seen old parish churches built out of the same flint rock in Kent.
Hastings. The Howard family lives here, and Mr. Howard is the Duke of Norfolk.
