With only two nights and one full day in Paris, we did our best to get around and see the sights.  First, school work in the morning and then onto the metro down to L’Hotel de Ville station and had lunch looking out over the Pompidou Center. Then off to tour Notre Dame Cathedral, walk along the Seine to the Louvre and the glass pyramid.  The boys sailed boats in the Jardin des Tuileries before we walked back over the Seine to the Rive Gauche section of antique stores and a quick snack before walking down Rue St.-Germain and finding dinner at a quaint little place in the quartier latin.  After dinner, we decided to make a full day of it and head for a night time ride to the top of the Eiffel Tower.  Even though it after 10pm, raining and windy at the top, we still enjoyed the spectacular view of the City of Lights below.  Long walk back to the Trocodero metro station for another long ride back to our flat in the 20eme arrondissement.  Whew! Too much to do and too little time. We definitely will be back!
