We took a field trip today to Stonehenge and Avebury circle. This was everyone’s first time to Stonehenge.
- I bet no one ever did this with Stonehenge.
Makes me think of Spinal Tap – 18 inches instead of 18 feet.
- Stonehenge is roped off. In contrast, you can walk among, touch, and climb the stones at Avebury Circle. The stone circle area is massive, a small town is actually inside the circular ditch and mound.
